United Alliance, Nicaragua Triumphs won a landslide victory in the regional elections that were held on Sunday in the Nicaraguan Caribbean Coast, according to preliminary results released in the evening hours of Sunday by the Supreme Electoral Council (CSE). Elections , which took place in the districts of the North Atlantic Autonomous Region (RAAN) and South Atlantic Autonomous Region (RAAS), reflected the majority support of Caribbean families to the United Alliance, Nicaragua Triumphs, who heads the FSLN. In the RAAN, the Front won a 57.69% of the vote, while the RAAS reached 59.17 percent. These results correspond to a count of 50.52 percent of the vote, in the case of the Northern Region, and 53.48% for the Region Sur.Se expected Monday in the afternoon, CSE offers a new conference with a scrutiny that is close to 100 percent.
